Having cycled almost 30,000 kilometers on bamboo bicycles from the Arctic to the Antarctic for clean water, we now want to link primary school students everywhere with a local water project in a different part of the world, empower them to organize and make a positive impact, while having fun cycling. This way we hope to facilitate more tangible change, sustain inspiration, and create thousands of Cycle for Water Ambassadors around the world!
Cycling 30,000 km over paved and unpaved roads, mountain passes, and dirt tracks was tough, but for the real adventure we need your help. We have a proven program for children to organize their own Cycle for Water; whereby they learn about the value of water during one part of the day, and put in a tangible, physical effort to help some of their peers in need of clean water during another part. Please check our materials and videos on this site and get in touch and into action!
